Angie & Nate at the Horton Grand Hotel

  Mobile Music Plus is honored to be part of the recent Real Wedding feature from San Diego Style Weddings Magazine, this one was unique!   -2 Flatscreen TVs, 2 DJ Systems and uplights at the Horton Grande Hotel.

  The guests were treated to a special day-of video edit  during the cocktail reception that included the Ceremony footage and the end of the video was planned to be the perfect introduction for the Bride and Groom to walk through the door to the cheers of their friends and family.

  After dinner outside, the group transitioned indoors for the party.  The room, completely draped in white with white uplights created a very clean and elegant party atmosphere and the guests were all in.  It only took a few minutes to get the dancefloor started and they didn't stop until the end.

There are some cool toys out there.  Check out the video by our friends at EventAVision.

Last month we debuted our new TouchScreen DJ system at the EventAVision showcase and it was a perfect fit.  Lots of new things to look at, the LEDs screens are higher definition, projectors are brighter and smaller and the technology is starting to look more like a Jetsons Cartoon than ever before.  Can't wait for these things to be the new standard of entertainment.

Opening night welcome reception for our sailing group, this was from a month or 2 before the Olympics in Rio.  A few of Olympic sailing team were there so of course we had a Brazilian dance performance to prepare for the Olympics.

Video Dj - Corporate Dinner in OC

  Rocked a fun little dinner last night up in Anaheim,  Had a last minute addition of "Hey could you announce the grand entrance for this list of award winners?"  High School Football Team style, we had a pep rally tunnel of cheerleaders to cheer the award winners into the room and a small list of 43 names on the awards list.... Aced it!  People were cheering, and having a great time and the doors to the ballroom had only been open 15 minutes.

 

It was all perfect from there. A fun, upbeat, food stations dinner that lead into a raging dance party for the last hour and a half of the night.  It's always nice to Video DJ on (2) 20 foot screens with 10K projectors too.

Corporate Event at Parq Night Club and Event Center & San Diego Port Pavilion

  Last week, we were lucky enough to be involved in one of the largest corporate conferences of the year.   There were several events on the main night of the conference, Jonny Dupre' was giving ambience to a 60s themed party at Parq.  Lots of flowerchild music in our recreated Electric Lady Land setting and of course Jonny was in his Jimi Hendrix best.  Maybe we can book him to play the National Anthem on guitar.

Work Hard, Play Hard!

  Our MMP team of DJ's, Photobooth Staff and Roadies works hard serving our clients all year.   Occasionally we have a chance to go unwind and have some fun together away from the event world.   Last week we went to Miramar Speed Circuit for a couple races and some Laser Tag.  We also crowned our employee of the year.   Congratulations Sara you deserve it!

NAMM 2016 (Nat'l Assoc of Music Merchants)

  Music industry people already know, but the NAMM show in Anaheim every January is the CES for all things music.  Manufacturers roll out all their brand new products for introductions to the public.  Pioneer Pro DJ always brings their best.  Check out these fully operational CDJs  (DJ CD players)

Evert type of music related item you can think of is on display, software, hardware, instruments and to make a great impact on show attendees many of the booths will schedule recording artists and other celebs to visit their booth or host a party. I normally hit the show on Sundays as the show winds down but this year AGIPRODJ hosted a Video DJ party with DJ 2nd Nature and Fatman Scoop headlining the party at Heat Ultra Lounge. 

 As a DJ I don't always enjoy watching another DJ perform but 2nd Nature is one of a handful of exceptions.  He was a leader in the 1st Regeneration of Video DJs and made  name for himself building original content around his performances and Fatman Scoop is arguably the best Hype Man in the business today.

Corporate Event at Petco Park

This was a unique event as we were in Hall of Fame Bar & Grill (Also known as The Loft) int eh Western Metal building overlooking the field area which was in full conversion for the SuperCross Event this weekend.  No Video for this one but a few pictures from before start time.   Also a couple shots that captured the brand new custom case for the new #Pioneerdj #DDJRZ  The DDJ-RZ is a brand new state of the art All-in-one DJ System.
